Thorns Group to showcase its talents at The Westminster Collection

Thorns Group will be thrust into the heart of London’s exclusive events industry when it takes part in The Westminster Collection’s prestigious autumn venues showcase.

Not only is the leading furniture and catering hire specialist supplying tables to the unique event at Banqueting House in Whitehall, as an associate member of The Westminster Collection, Thorns will have a greater presence.

The company will be able to showcase its own products and services to event-goers searching for the best venues and suppliers in the capital.

The unique event, Afternoon Tea at The Westminster Collection ‘One-Stop-Shop’ Autumn Venues Showcase, brings event planners and London’s top venues together under one roof. It allows visitors to check out exclusive locations from the Strand to Bayswater, Pimlico to the West End and from the Embankment to Cavendish Square.

Venues include historical palaces, private members’ clubs, versatile exhibition centres, purpose-built convention centres, bijou hotels, intimate meeting rooms and luxury boats on the River Thames.

Paul added: “Thorns is supplying 52 poseur tables for use by the 44 venue managers as they talk to event planners and company PAs helping them find the perfect venue for their conferences or Christmas parties. It is not a social networking session; it’s a serious occasion where the visitors are only interested in two things – finding the best location for their event and the best suppliers.

“We will have our own table to showcase Thorns Group’s products and services. It will put Thorns in the running to supply furniture and equipment to events staged at these major venues. With our expertise and competitive quotes, I am certain we can bring in new business.”

The Westminster Collection event takes place on September 14 from 2pm to 5pm
