ESSA Launches the ESSA G50 Summit and its Summer Event 2010
ESSA has launched its G50 and Summer Event for 2010. As we climb out of recession time is a valuable commodity, so this year ESSA has combined two of its most successful annual events the ESSA G50 and the ESSA Summer Event which includes the Industry Golf Day, Spa Day and Activity Day, reducing the need to travel to two separate events. Alongside this ESSA has managed to keep the price for delegates to the same level as 2009.
The two day event will be held at Staverton Park, Daventry on 21 and 22 July, which this year will include the G50 on 21 July followed by the ESSA Activity Day on 22 July delegates may choose to stay for the whole two-day ESSA Summer Event or book customised packages to suit.
The ESSA G50 will centre around Planning for the Future and will continues with the "family" theme which became very apparent at this year’s AGM. It will provide an opportunity to meet and network with industry peers and fellow ESSA members – sharing knowledge and experiences in an informal relaxed environment. In addition delegates will hear about upcoming legislative changes that will affect their businesses, the inside track on what marketing channels work best, ways of working closer with UK venues for mutual benefit and what future business opportunities there could be out there. To end the day will be a senior cross association ‘think tank’ with representatives from the ESSA, AEO & AEV Boards looking strategically at the challenges and opportunities within their businesses over the next few years with the cream of the three sides of the industry giving their thoughts and insight, with delegates having an opportunity to lodge challenging questions pre the event and on the day.
The Summer Event includes the ever popular Event Industry Golf Day, the Spa Day and Activity Day for non-golfers and a host of packages to enable delegates to tailor the days to their precise requirements. Proceedings will culminate with a Gala Dinner where the winners from the various competitions collect their prizes and trophies followed by an evening full of chance and luck at the ESSA Casino tables.
ESSA Director Chris Skeith said: "This year we have kept the standard as high as ever whilst endeavouring to make the event flexible, time and cost effective as possible, to make is as easy as possible for members to gain the maximum benefit from the event.
