The Event Supplier and Services Association has announced that there are only 7 team places left for 'In The Rough', the association's annual event industry charity golf tournament which this year will be held at The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, Wales on Thursday July 19, 2018.

Andrew Harrison, ESSA director, explained why 'In The Rough' isn't just for golfers, saying, "Aside from tee sponsorship opportunities and the effortless and informal networking opportunities, non-golfers can also enjoy the relaxing surroundings of the Celtic Manor Resort, with its eleven bars and restaurants to choose from, and the fundraising gala dinner in the evening."
"This year," continued Harrison, "we are collecting for Macmillan Cancer Support and Sparks, the Children's Medical Care Charity. These charities both do outstanding and important work supporting cancer sufferers and funding groundbreaking research in paedatric medicine. Last year we were able to raise thousands of pounds for them both, and I hope this year we can do even better."

In The Rough 2018 is supported by headline sponsor BeMatrix, and event partners Mash Media, InEvexco, Jungheinrich Materials Handling, Perton Signs and GES. Teams, Tee sponsorship, and other opportunities to support the event are still available.
