|CME||We've been a member of ESSA, AEC & BECA, indeed have sat on the merger team and Boards of both AEC & ESSA, but why – of course there are the needs to protect the interests of members and the industry. But also I get a direct business benefit for my company CME, a major client insisted on seeing my current ESSA Membership Certificate and credentials before signing off on a significant order. Being a member adds to our credibility as a business, enhances our sales propositions, and it is heartening to see clients appreciating the values using an ESSA member brings them’|
|C & S Design Build Limited||
When the CITB contacted us to advise that we had been added to their register, getting in touch with ESSA was a wise decision and one that I would strongly recommend to other contractors who find themselves in the same situation.
After supplying ESSA with information regarding our business mix and identifying that percentage wise we were enough, in CITB terms “out of scope” they sent this information to the CITB with a covering letter representing us as our trade organisation.
Before the relief wears off, and I forget how much impact this could have had on our business financially I would just like to say a real big thank you to ESSA. It's in times like this you understand how important it is to be a member of a professional trade organisation that really does offer help and support.
