Elizabeth Turner

Sales and Marketing Director

The Event and Exhibition Partnership

In 1997 I set up The Event and Exhibition Partnership (eep). From the start we dedicated ourselves to serving events and exhibitions. I personally have become involved with the association like most, on an ad-hoc basis, but now feel the time is right to fight the corner, step up and be part of the team going forward. As a provider of people, I can hopefully bring a difference perspective to the group as we are very often the first person anyone sees when they visit an event.

Creative8 Ltd

I am Co-founder of Creative8 which was established 10 years ago specialising in exhibition stand design and build. Our belief that remains our core value to this day is that we can offer something special to our Clients and I also believe I can offer the same to ESSA. I love what I do and am passionate about our industry, and I want to be part of continual growth and positive changes. Joining the board would provide a platform for me to communicate the issues that face stand contractors today and be part of finding resolutions that will help the industry as a whole.

Rob Brackstone

Managing Director

ESM Ltd

I have been Managing Director of ESM Ltd since 2005, a design and build contractor since 1989 working with agencies and some amazing exhibitors and marketing teams across the globe. The last 18 months have been the most testing of my time as MD, but I’m proud that, with the support of ESSA, and having discovered how much we have in common as members on numerous calls, we’re emerging on the other side arguably more resilient. I have long believed our industry to be undervalued, a feeling exacerbated during the pandemic. Our members create experiences rewarding those who invest in them. The myriad of suppliers bringing those experiences to life create jobs, growth, and a vibrancy to the economy. I would strive to bring businesses together within ESSA, to listen to them, sharing their successes, articulating their challenges, and better explaining the value we create, to project out, not in, so that we might be stronger, together, for the future.

The last year has shown us all how passionate, resilient and determined the people that make up our great industry are. I have no doubt that we will come back stronger than ever and I would like to help play my part in supporting that. Being a business owner and having worked on site for the last 12 years, I feel I can be a positive voice for stand contractors and our valued suppliers. I believe in action over policies and doing over talking!
