Your business will hopefully be benefiting from a very busy period but is your insurance policy up to date? During the last two years you may have scaled back your insurance, furthermore some Insurers restricted cover during the period of the pandemic. InEvexco wanted to take this opportunity to remind all Organisers, Contractors and Suppliers to contact their insurance broker to inform them of an updated forecast moving forwards.
Failure to update and represent your risk fairly will reduce the cover you have and could invalidate your insurance policy coverage completely in the event of a claim.
During the pandemic insurance brokers like InEvexco who understood the terrible plight of the sector, negotiated reduced premiums with insurers based on greatly reduced revenues etc. Many policies were then renewed on lower estimates as there simply wasn’t the same exposure to operational risk.
This significant premium reduction meant that InEvexco, and other reasonably minded brokers and their insurers’ income was also drastically reduced. As a specialist in the events and exhibitions sector InEvexco were faced with many of the same challenges as our clients.
