Production Assistant
Location: Stockport HQ, with travel to event sites (UK / EU / ROW)
Salary: £22,000–£26,000 depending on experience
Start date: As soon as you’re ready

The Role

We’re looking for someone who’s as comfortable on-site with an iPad as they are wrangling kit lists back at HQ. As Production Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver exhibition stands, pop-ups and brand experiences that are anything but ordinary.

You’ll be part of a busy, fun and friendly team supporting our Project Managers, Creative Studio, and suppliers from first ideas through to live days (and de-rigs). This is a hands-on role with loads of variety, and you’ll need to be organised, proactive, and ready to muck in wherever needed.

It’s fast-paced, creative, and no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Helping plan and coordinate the production side of our event projects
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and freelancers to keep things moving
  • Pulling together production schedules, kit lists and health & safety docs
  • Getting stuck in during builds, live days and take-downs (some travel and weekend work included)
  • Keeping our warehouse kit and event materials in check
  • Attending site visits and inspections
  • Supporting budget tracking and keeping projects on time and on spec
  • Pitching in with admin tasks such as quotes, POs and project wrap-ups

What You’ll Need

  • A bit of experience in events, exhibitions, theatre production or similar (agency or freelance both welcome)
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Bonus points for experience with project tools and Creative Cloud
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An eye for detail and some basic understanding of H&S paperwork (RAMS, risk assessments etc.)
  • Any technical skills (AV, rigging, set build) would be the cherry on top

What You’re Like

  • You take initiative, you’re the sort to spot what needs doing and crack on
  • You stay calm when things get busy (which they often do)
  • You’re the person who spots the missing cable tie before it’s a problem
  • You work well with others, pitch in, and keep the energy up
  • You’re hands-on, positive and resilient
  • You’re flexible and up for travel as well as being ready to adapt when plans shift
  • And you’re genuinely into events and the buzz of doing things well
