“At Smart AV we strive to offer the latest and most advanced audio visual technology but have found that our clients often need more than just the hardware,” explains Smart AV CEO Darren Poultney. “Uberact is a company we have worked with for many years and who are absolute experts in their field. We see this partnership as a way of providing our clients with fresh, new ideas and deployments of how they can use the products we offer, in order to bring it to life for their clients and projects”.

The partnership will involve event solutions that bring together the latest LED, interactive and audio visual hardware, with personalised app development, virtual reality, hologram projection, realtime software and social media API integration.

Gareth Griffiths, Director of Uberact, comments: “I’m very pleased to be able to offer my clients a direct line to a forward-thinking audio visual partner like Smart AV and simultaneously, to develop new products and solutions for Smart AV’s wide range of clients. Having worked together for many years, we see this partnership as an extension of the great work that can occur when the latest hardware is paired with custom-developed software, an area which is growing in importance to event audiences.”

An interactive installation showroom at Smart AV’s new ‘Smart Space’ will showcase examples of the joint solutions, from its launch at the end of March 2016.

Leading audio visual event supplier Smart AV, part of The Incredible Pixel Group (IPG) today announced that it has become an official partner of interactive software development company Uberact.

The new partnership will allow Smart AV to supply audio visual solutions to Uberact on interactive projects that require both hardware and software elements. The partnership will also allow Smart AV to introduce Uberact to client projects that need an element of interactivity or bespoke software development, within events, exhibition and experiential installations.
