ISO 45001 is replacing the British standard for health and safety management 18001 joining a suit of standards for management systems including ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 9001 for quality systems.
There have been numerous delays to the planned publication which is now not expected before March 2018 after which there will be a three year transition period.
