ESSA is pleased to offer it's members a range of online training courses covering health and safety, sustainability, and industry best practice. Our courses are designed to build practical, everyday awareness, ideal for those new to the industry, anyone looking for a refresher, or teams wanting to reinforce essential knowledge. Each course focuses on clear, relevant content that supports safe, responsible, and professional working across the events and exhibitions sector.   HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING

Averaging 10 minutes each, our health and safety training are bite-sized sessions that have been designed to serve as a foundational introduction and awareness-builder in these areas, ideally used as refresher training, part of a toolbox talk programme or as a supplement to existing company training. Each course concludes with a brief exercise to confirm understanding and a dated certificate is issued upon successful completion.

SUSTAINABILITY TRAINING

We also have a more detailed sustainability awareness course, created with ESSA Member Green Circle Solutions takes about 60 minutes to complete and takes you on a journey through sustainability in events and how we can all do our part to make the industry more sustainable. 

Once you have completed a training course you will be issued a certificate. It is recommended that you refresh your training every 12 months. Certificates can be found within your account settings on the portal.

All ESSA online awareness courses are free to members, with access depending on your membership level*:

• Full Members: Unlimited access for all employees
• Associate Members: Access for up to 2 users
• Individual Members: Access for 1 user
  *Excluding IOSH courses.

Accessing the training

To access the training you need to be an employee of an ESSA member and registered on our CRM. If you are already registered on our CRM then you will have automatically been given access to the training portal. Access the portal using the button below to finalise your account and gain access.

If you are not already on our CRM and would like to be added then please complete the sign up form below. Please take care to fill out the form accurately and enter the ESSA Member company as it is on the member directory. If there are any discrepencies with the information submitted on the form or you are not an employee of an ESSA Member then your access to the training will be revoked. 

IOSH Accredited E-Learning

In addition to the free courses available, we are also pleased to offer IOSH-accredited e-learning, including:

Full and Individual ESSA Members are entitled to a member discount. Associate and non-members can still access the course but need to pay the RRP.

Enables senior leaders to understand their health and safety responsibilities and those of others. The course helps to ensure health and safety is managed effectively in compliance with the law which reduces accidents absence rates, boosts productivity enhances brand reputation. IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors is an internationally recognised qualification from IOSH. Full and Individual ESSA Members benefit from the discount.			Ensures a robust understanding of health and safety best practices and legislation. Participants explore practical strategies that can be employed in day-to-day management to improve safety performance and reduce workplace injuries and sick days. An internationally recognised qualification from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Full and Individual ESSA Members benefit from the discount.
IOSH Working Safely			IOSH Managing Safely Refresher
Ensures employees can recognise hazards and manage risks in the workplace. An internationally recognised qualification from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. Supports compliance with employee training requirements under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974. Full and Individual ESSA Members benefit from the discount.			Supports managers to consistently maintain best practice in health and safety by ensuring their knowledge and skills remain fresh. Ensures those responsible for managing health and safety stay up to date with best practices and current legislation.
