ACID (Anti Copying In Design) is a trade association for designers and manufacturers with a large and diverse membership, ranging from individuals to multinationals. Member benefits include access to initial free specialist IP legal advice and use of the ACID IP Databank to support and protect unregistered IP Rights. The ACID logo is a recognised deterrent against IP theft. ACID’s key objectives are protection, deterrence and education, working towards a safer commercial trading framework, enabling originators to fully maximise their IP rights. Our campaigning arm, ACID Action, lobbies for design law reform to ensure IP rights are secured post Brexit.
