Criteria for Entry:

Recognizing Hidden Gems Who Go Above and Beyond

Are there exceptional individuals in your organization deserving of recognition? Our award aims to honour the outstanding achievements of employees employed by an ESSA Member, who have made significant contributions to products, teams, or the company as a whole.

Please note that this award is not open to senior management.

We seek nominees who exemplify going above and beyond their call of duty, making noteworthy contributions in roles that typically do not receive public acknowledgment. Our focus is on frontline and middle management individuals who often go unnoticed for their remarkable efforts within the industry.

What Are the Judges Looking For?

Our judges will carefully evaluate your nomination based on the following criteria:

Team player and asset to the company: How has the nominee contributed to the overall success of their team and the organization as a whole?

Successful project involvement: Can you highlight specific projects where the nominee played a key role and achieved notable results?

Consistent commitment to excellence: How has the nominee consistently demonstrated a dedication to delivering exceptional work?

Lack of recognition: Why do you believe the nominee has not received adequate recognition for their contributions?

By providing well-reasoned justifications and rationales for your nomination, you can help our judges recognize the hidden gems within your organization who truly deserve this recognition.

Entry Conditions:

• a maximum of 3 entries per member company per award is permitted
• your entry should contain no more than 1000 words in total.
• you may upload a maximum of 5 files to support your entry
