Barmotion UK took our Crush bars to the big screen on September 24 and 27, 2021, at two London locations for independent film studio Sister Baby (Ltd), known for Gangs of London and other titles. Setting up in the Cavalry Barracks and the Backstage Centre, we were asked to provide beverages to the film crew as a thank you for their hard work on recent productions. 

Alexia Swart, our managing director, explains, “The first event was confirmed on the 22nd, set to take place on the 24th, leaving us with a short window to prepare. But our Barmotion Rock Stars delivered - as always.

"On the first day we were at Cavalry Barracks for a 12pm set-up with the event starting at 2 pm, the second day followed the same schedule but at the Backstage Centre. Finishing at 5 pm, the crew had plenty of time to enjoy the refreshing beverages we had to offer.”

Marcus, a rep for Sister Baby, said, “The crew genuinely felt our appreciation thanks to the brilliant service you provided. Barmotion’s presence unquestionably made the day and the Crush bars served as an amazing treat for everyone.

“Unsurprisingly, the Barmotion team were absolutely wonderful! You proved you are everyone's favourite once again thanks to the team's cheerful and communicative nature. Thank you again, it was a special time that the crew won’t forget and we are all looking forward to working with you again.” 

This was just the start for Barmotion and Sister Baby. Following the celebration, we have set up two more coffee bars for on-set filming, at a scrapyard of all places, and have more in the works. 

“How lucky are we! Getting to set up in a field…next to a scrapyard, just shows we can set up anywhere.” Swart concluded, “but the highlight was being able to make people happy and serving them the BEST coffee!”
