Lüp Events has won Best Technology Innovation at the Australian Business Events Awards (ABEA) 2025, recognising its pioneering facial-recognition solution designed for fast and secure entry.
Lüp Events is proud to announce it has won Best Technology Innovation at the Australian Business Events Awards (ABEA) 2025, recognising its pioneering facial-recognition solution designed for fast, secure and high-volume event entry.
Developed in response to the growing need for safe and efficient access at large-scale, high-security events, Lüp’s facial-recognition technology verifies attendee identity within seconds by integrating directly with event ticketing and security workflows. The solution has already been successfully deployed at major events, including Land Forces, Avalon Airshow and IMARC, processing thousands of attendees per hour while improving operational accuracy and safety.
Lüp’s innovation was originally developed after AMDA challenged the team to design a faster and more secure entry process for high-risk environments.
“I’d like to thank ABEA for granting us this award,” said Simon Suter, Chief Executive Officer of Lüp Events. “and I’d also like to thank Steve Gibson and the team at AMDA, who challenged us to deliver a product that’s absolutely essential for an event like Land Forces in Melbourne. We were tasked with bringing people in quickly and safely, ensuring the right people were entering at all times. We're very proud of our team in Brisbane for developing this and as we move into the UK and Middle East markets, security is becoming paramount.”
Lüp’s award underscores its commitment to delivering secure, scalable, and seamless access solutions for the global events industry.
