Exhibition design and build specialist Symbiosis has achieved Better Stands Gold status for all 15 exhibition stands it designed and built at ICE Barcelona 2026 and iGB Affiliate Barcelona 2026.

The recognition highlights the company’s continued commitment to delivering sustainable exhibition stands using reusable systems that significantly reduce event waste.

The Better Stands programme promotes environmentally responsible exhibiting by encouraging modular, reusable stand construction. Gold status is the highest level awarded and confirms that key structural and design elements of each stand met strict reuse and sustainability criteria.

This latest achievement marks another step in Symbiosis’ ongoing sustainability journey, focused on smarter design, responsible material use and reducing environmental impact across live events. Alongside this, the company recently secured ESSA Health & Safety Accreditation, reinforcing its commitment to both safe working practices and sustainable exhibition delivery.

Symbiosis also recognised Clarion Events for introducing the Better Stands initiative at ICE and iGB Affiliate Barcelona. Industry programmes like this play an important role in encouraging wider adoption of sustainable exhibition stands and driving positive change across the events sector.
