This qualification, which is independently audited and adopts the principles of Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP), confirms that Exhibit 3Sixty continues to operate at the required level to meet industry-agreed health and safety standards, including the stage one requirements of assessing competence under the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) 2015.
While many ESSA members utilise external health and safety consultants to manage the accreditation process, Exhibit 3Sixty made a strategic decision to develop these competencies in-house. This commitment to internal professional development saw Katie Strain, senior designer at Exhibit 3Sixty, and Sam Pearce, director at Exhibit 3Sixty, achieve their IOSH qualifications earlier in 2026. Furthermore, Sam Pearce has completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate, reinforcing the company's ability to manage health and safety requirements internally.
Josh Taylor, ESSA H&S manager, explains, “Achieving ESSA Health and Safety Accreditation requires a business to demonstrate genuine competence across all the core areas of health and safety management, from risk assessment and safe systems of work through to training, supervision, and managing others on site. Exhibit 3Sixty has done that convincingly. The fact that it has been done while the company has been settling into new premises makes it all the more impressive, and Sam has clearly driven it from the front. The investment made in training the Exhibit 3Sixty people in-house really shows. This is exactly the kind of competence the accreditation is designed to surface, and clients working with Exhibit 3Sixty can have genuine confidence in that.”
The ESSA Health & Safety Accreditation serves as a vital benchmark for the events industry, providing organisers, venues, and clients with assurance regarding a contractor's risk mitigation and regulatory compliance. By achieving this standard, Exhibit 3Sixty demonstrates its capability to manage diverse safety factors, ranging from manual handling and work at height to fire safety and incident reporting, ensuring the company is fully prepared to execute projects securely and in compliance. This re-accreditation confirms Exhibit 3Sixty’s ongoing commitment to professional standards and workforce welfare.
