The Occasionall Group has always believed that the people on the ground are the heartbeat of any event. TOG 100 is the company's way of making sure they know it.
Launched on the 100th day of 2026, TOG 100 is a new initiative recognising the most experienced, most loyal, and most dedicated members of The Occasionall Group's workforce, those who have completed 100 or more shifts across multiple events with the agency. The 25 founding members earned their place through consistent professionalism, reliability, and the kind of commitment that makes events run the way they should. They are not just workers on the books, but the people clients ask for by name.
On the 13th of May 2026, The Occasionall Group brought the founding members together for the first time in London for an invite-only celebration to mark the official launch. Each member received a numbered pin badge denoting their place in TOG 100, a small but deliberate detail reflecting the fact that every founding member has a specific and individual story with the company. Member number one, Aiden, was the first to reach the 100-shift milestone. While member number 25, Sam, is the most recent. Every number in between represents a journey that The Occasionall Group wanted to honour in person.
Why TOG 100 was created
The events industry runs on people, and the best people have choices and brilliant ideas. The Occasionall Group created TOG 100 to do more than appreciate its most dedicated staff privately. The initiative exists to celebrate them publicly, give them a platform, and ensure their experience and loyalty is formally recognised.
TOG 100 goes further than recognition. Founding members serve as a sounding board for the business. All 25 were consulted on the TOG 100 logo so that the people it represents had a say in how it looks. As The Occasionall Group grows and introduces new initiatives that affect its workforce, TOG 100 members will continue to be part of those conversations. Their experience on the ground is invaluable, and the decisions made as a business are better for having their input.
What it means for clients
When event organisers book staff through The Occasionall Group, they are drawing from a workforce that includes people who have shown up, event after event, and proven themselves at every level. TOG 100 is the quality mark that makes that visible. A TOG 100 badge represents a track record of professionalism, reliability, and genuine commitment to the work.
Membership is reviewed seasonally. As the workforce grows and new staff reach the 100 shift milestone, the TOG 100 community grows with them. It is a living initiative, not a one-off campaign.
A note from Natalie Evans, People & Culture Director
"TOG 100 is something I feel really proud of. The people who show up for us time and time again, across all kinds of events and all kinds of conditions, deserve to be seen and celebrated properly. TOG 100 is more than recognising the hours people put in, we want to acknowledge the trust they've placed in us and the way in which they show up for the company, our clients, and each other. We want to honour that. Getting to involve our founding members in decisions about how The Occasionall Group grows and evolves seems only right considering they have already been a huge part of that, possibly without realising. These are the people who know our events best. We'd be foolish not to listen to them."
A note from David Cater, a TOG 100 Founding Member
"...Coldplay. Getting to be part of one of the world’s biggest and longest tours at an iconic venue working with the biggest team I’ve worked with to date was just incredible. An experience I’ll never forget spending nearly a month at one venue and working with such an amazing team of TOG “friends” and new colleagues. It became a family and it was a privilege to be a gate captain on the final show."
