T3 Systems delivered its largest modular build to date at the IGEM Jamboree in Paris — 220 booths using more than 5km of T3 profile, assembled tool-free and fully reusable after the event.
The iGEM Jamboree is one of the most complex and time-sensitive scientific events in Europe, gathering hundreds of university and research teams from across the globe. For the 2025 edition at Porte de Versailles in Paris, T3 Systems EU was appointed to design, supply and install the full exhibition infrastructure — and to do it within one of the tightest windows the company has worked to at this scale.
The brief was demanding: 220 modular booths arranged across multiple themed, colour-coded "Village" zones for navigation, plus a Community area and a merchandise shop — all to be built, fitted out and handed over in just 48 hours, with no compromise on quality, branding or function.
Using the tool-free T3 modular system, a seven-person installation team assembled more than 5 kilometres of T3 aluminium framework inside the 48-hour window — the largest single deployment in the company's history. Working alongside AV partner Novelty, the team pre-installed and routed 186 monitors through the T3 profiles themselves, keeping every screen powered and aligned with clean cable management and no visible wiring or temporary rigging. The event opened on schedule, without exception.
Because the entire structure is built from the reusable T3 system, there were no single-use booths and no post-event waste. The same inventory will be dismantled, stored and redeployed at future Jamborees as part of a newly agreed three-year partnership between T3 Systems and the iGEM Foundation — a working example of the circular, reuse-first approach the events industry is increasingly moving towards.
Builds at this scale point to a wider shift in the sector: modular, reusable systems replacing bespoke single-use construction for large multi-booth environments — delivering speed, consistency and a dramatically lower environmental footprint at once.
