UK food & drink exports hit record £25.6bn as British exporters head to SIAL Paris

From established British brands to ambitious first-time exhibitors, 49 UK food and drink businesses will showcase products, innovation and export success at SIAL Paris 2026.

UK food and drink exports reached a record £25.6bn in 2025, breaking the £25bn barrier for the first time and increasing 4.8% year-on-year, according to the Food and Drink Federation (FDF).

Against this backdrop, 49 UK food and drink businesses will come together at SIAL Paris from 17–21 October, with 13 exhibiting at the show for the first time.

Organised by PS8, the UK Pavilion will span nine locations across six halls, bringing together businesses from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Jersey.

“This year's UK Pavilion at SIAL is a genuine showcase of what Britain does best in food and drink. With 49 exhibitors spread across nine locations and six halls, buyers from around the world can see the full breadth of UK innovation - from heritage producers to the next generation of category disruptors. It's a powerful reminder that British food and drink isn't just holding its own on the international stage, it's leading.”

- Simon Ford, Managing Director at PS8

Innovation across the UK Pavilion

From established brands to new businesses entering international markets, the UK Pavilion will showcase the breadth of products being developed for consumers around the world.

There will be a strong focus on new product development, including AG Barr’s Boost Water+, a range of zero-sugar electrolyte waters launched in 2026, and alcohol-free beer brand BRULO®, exhibiting at SIAL for the first time.

“Water consumption is on the rise and, although shoppers are moving beyond simple thirst-quenching to seek drinks that offer functional benefits, they are not prepared to compromise on taste.”

- Lisa McKenna, Boost Brand Director at AG Barr

PerfectTed, the UK’s #1 fastest growing founder-led business by the FEBE Growth 100 in 2025, will also make its first appearance at SIAL as it continues its European expansion, while Carlsberg Britvic will be exhibiting at a show of this scale for the first time, showcasing brands including Tango and Fruit Shoot.

New products on show at SIAL

Innovation will also be on show across the Pavilion, with several exhibitors using SIAL to introduce new products to international buyers.

Café Asia’s Bombay Donut has been shortlisted for SIAL Innovation 2026. The frozen snack combines bao-style dough, a real curry filling and panko crumb, and has already begun its international journey with launches in the UK and exports to the Caribbean.

“I spent eleven years in financial services before moving into food. The thing that struck me immediately is how little genuine invention there is in the freezer aisle. Everyone is making a slightly different version of the same spring roll. We wanted to create a format that did not exist, so we did. The Bombay Donut is ours, and Paris is where the world meets it.”

- James Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer at Café Asia

Snowdonia Cheese Company is celebrating its 25th anniversary at SIAL and will launch Purple Vale, a balsamic-infused artisan mature cheddar, handcrafted in collaboration with renowned balsamic producer Giuseppe Giusti.

Meanwhile, Coombe Castle International will showcase its new Limoncello 0% Clotted Cream, which won Gold at the 2026 ICDA Awards, alongside new Cherry Clotted Cream and Hot Maple Cheddar.

From British products to global markets

The Pavilion will also highlight the export experience of UK businesses already selling around the world.

Butterfly Poultry has recently received the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, while We Get Any Stock, which supplies more than 24,000 branded FMCG products, serves customers in more than 50 countries.

SHS Drinks will showcase the latest international launch of bottlegreen Elderflower Pressé, which has been selected for the Intermarché Innovation Forum in France. Prima Cheese, meanwhile, exports to more than 50 countries and supplies around 150 tonnes of cheese every week.

These businesses represent the range of UK companies using international trade to build and grow their businesses, from specialist producers to established brands with extensive global distribution.

Supporting the next generation of UK exporters

The UK presence will also include the FDEA UK Innovation Zone, supporting emerging food and drink businesses and founders looking to develop international opportunities.

The AHDB British Meat Pavilion will also be located in Hall 6, bringing together leading British beef, lamb and pork exporters.
