The ESSA Chair, Martin Cairns, took to the stage at this year's EN Race Day on 13 September 2019 as a member of the panel focusing on the topic of sustainability.

The panel discussed how events businesses can do more to offset their environmental impact and how organisers, suppliers and venues can work together to create a more sustainable exhibition industry without breaking the bank.

Fellow panelists - Martin Hurn, MD of Futurebuild Events, Linda Ritchie, venue general manager at the NEC and Mike Seaman, MD of Raccoon Events and moderated by John Kelly of BCD Meetings & Events.
